Maggie Doe

Chief Athletics Health Officer and Head Team Physician, University of Oregon

Dr. Margaret "Maggie" Flannery Doe serves as Chief Athletics Health Officer and Head Team Physician for the University of Oregon Athletics Department, where she oversees the health, safety, and medical care of all student-athletes. She's a former Division I soccer player and a breast cancer survivor, having completed treatment for Grade 3b invasive ductal carcinoma in July 2026. Maggie also served as Paige's team doctor at the University of Oregon, and the two underwent treatment around the same time, developing a close friendship that became a mutual support system. She's board-certified in family medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine, earned through training at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a fellowship at The Ohio State University. Maggie is especially passionate about One4One's mission as cancer rates continue to rise among young people, believing early detection and self-advocacy will only become more critical. She enjoys spending time with her partner, Alison, and their two rescue dogs, Dottie and Piper.
